New lower-cost SEH drug options

AmeriHealth New Jersey is now offering lower-cost SEH drug options for all benefits plans in the following lines of business: PPO, POS, POS Plus, HMO, and HMO Plus. Save up to 27% vs. our $0 deductible plans with these lower-cost drug options. Each plan will include an up-front deductible that is applicable to brand drugs only – generic drugs are excluded from the deductible.

 

Three variations of up-front deductibles are offered: $100, $150, and $250. AmeriHealth New Jersey has built these new deductible plans off of three existing drug plans:

 

• 50%/$125
• $7/50%/$125
• $10/$40/$60.

 

The new drug options are now available for quoting on ROAM for groups that have an effective date on or after July 1, 2011. To find these drug options on ROAM, look for descriptions containing the words "Brand Deductible."

 

Please note: The benefit period for these plans is a calendar year
