A message from:
Madeleine Albright

"For over nine decades, IIE has been promoting peace and understanding through the exchange of people and ideas. The organization plays an especially critical role for students and academic leaders who are at risk because of political oppression or other forms of danger.

The IIE’s Scholar Rescue Fund provides a rare chance for them to establish outside contacts and to know that they are not alone in their quest for intellectual freedom."

Madeleine K. Albright
U.S. Secretary of State, 1997-2001
